The Ningbo International Freight Forwarders Association was established in September 1996. It is an industrial, local, and non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by enterprises, schools, and other institutions engaged in international freight forwarding-related businesses at the Ningbo port.
It is a governing unit of the China International Freight Forwarders Association and also a foreign-related commercial legal workstation of the Ningbo Mediation Center of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). In 2024, it passed the 4A-level social organization evaluation. It has won the Cooperation Award of the Freight Forwarders Association for Container Business of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port for eight consecutive years, and the business volume of its member enterprises accounts for more than 70% of that of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port. Currently, among its members, there are 26 Class-A logistics enterprises and 10 top 100 service enterprises in Ningbo.
